PRESS RELEASE # 8 and # 9

CARAVAN ORGANIZERS REPORT:
As a result of various factors under consideration, and in response to certain rumors that have appeared in different circles in connection with the "CARAVAN" project, as organizers we feel we should contact those interested in this event and public opinion in general by way of this announcement, which we hope will clear up any misconceptions as regards participants in the project at the time it is started, in addition to any other factors leading to false impressions. The announcement will likewise provide an explanation for operational decisions taken recently, which we hope will be of use in carrying out this great adventure.

PARTICIPANTS
1. Participants for CARAVAN have not yet been chosen, and the event is still in the registration stage. When the time arrives we will inform all those concerned that the selection stage is beginning.
2. Though registration is still open to anyone interested, it is likely to close in the very near future because of the number of participants who have registered so far (over 2,150). Participants would then be chosen from the list currently being drawn up.

COSTS
3. The cost of the CARAVAN project amounted to over 16 million dollars. The organizing team would like to respect the wishes of Mr. Emilio Scotto - creator of CARAVAN - as regards the number of people who will be traveling on this first expedition round the world, and that participants should be invited, i.e. should not be required to pay anything, not even a registration fee. However, events have shown that this and other conditions are complicating our negotiations with prospective sponsors and private investors, in addition to increasing costs. The CARAVAN project will only be possible if we are able to collect the amount of money required to cover the costs.
4. Investors in the production company created by Emilio Scotto in the United States, Around the World Enterprises, have requested that several changes should be made to increase project feasibility. These adjustments aim at substantially reducing the high costs involved. Emilio Scotto has accepted some of the changes requested, which are listed below:
A. Vacancies for motorbikes -including Emilio Scotto it self- will amount to 24.
B. Vacancies for all-terrain vehicles will be 10.
C. There will be 3 unimog and 3 trucks accompanying the caravan.
D. The total number of participants will be 110 (including motorbike riders and the production team)

There are still some changes pending approval by Emilio Scotto.

START UP DATE
6. Based on in-depth global weather surveys, the dates on which CARAVAN can set out are few and very specific. Also, some sponsors who are considering whether or not to take part have requested more time for their own preparation.
In line with all the above, the organizers of CARAVAN are announcing July or August 2008 as the starting date for this event, or even January or February 2009. This will provide a broader timescale for participants, organizers and sponsors. We do, of course, regret and apologize for any inconvenience this may involve regarding the dreams and expectations of many adventurous hearts, but we wish to stress this is all to the best for the project in general. CARAVAN 2008 is the greatest adventure in the 21st century and, as such, the challenges and problems to be overcome are also the greatest of the century.
7. Lastly, we would like to inform all those concerned that Mr. Jorge Patrono is no longer associated to Mr. Emilio Scotto. Nor is Jorge Patrono any longer associated to the CARAVAN project – which he has voluntary given up -, or to the Around the World Enterprises, LLC production company and Roadmap Entertainment company. The organizers are grateful for his previous help, and wish him all the best in his future enterprises.
